When assembled, the Ninja Crispi only takes up a footprint of 30 x 34 centimeters, and when disassembled, the modular device disappears into the cupboard more easily than a normal hot air fryer. This is definitely a plus point for small kitchens with little space. But the Ninja Crispi also cuts a fine figure on the work surface: the unusual design is appealing and it is now available in ten, some very colorful, color variants.
Even though Ninja recommends the Crispi for one to six people, in our opinion the device is not suitable for a large group of guests: When making fries for a family of four, you might reach the limit, even with the large glass container that holds 3.8 liters. The small glass container is only 1.4 liters in size.
According to the manufacturer, the Ninja Crispi offers an output of 1,700 watts to heat the temperature-resistant glass strongly. To prevent heat damage to the work surface and hands, the glass containers are embedded in a plastic tray with handles, which cannot be removed. The glass containers and the adapter ring can go in the dishwasher – this is only needed for the large container; the pod with heating element is placed directly on the small glass container.
