This is how sharpening works with the software

Ashampoo’s photo software allows you to sharpen images extensively to make them appear more brilliant and of higher quality. To do this, first load a photo into the software.

On the left edge of the picture you will find some presetswhich you can apply to your image with a click of the mouse. There are different methods to choose from (excerpt):

1. Reduce JPG artifacts
2. Macro shot
3. High ISO recording
4. Portrait without flash
5. Soft skin
6. Telephoto zoom
7. Sports recording

All of these are suitable for different images. Just try it out and decide which one looks best. The opacity of each effect can also be adjusted individually using a slider.

If you don’t want to bother with all the buttons, just click on the green arrow next to “Set automatically” at the bottom right. Thus analyzed Ashampoo Sharpen the image by itself and suggests a result to you.
