EcoFlow’s Delta Pro Ultra X aims to make solar power from small systems usable for a particularly long time. The modular system promises high performance and huge capacity for several days—and could significantly increase grid independence.
With the Delta Pro Ultra X, the manufacturer EcoFlow has introduced its most powerful home storage system to date. The modular battery storage is designed to provide enough energy to power an average household for up to six days. The system is aimed not only at homeowners but also at users of small solar systems who want to store their energy more efficiently and use it for longer.
Up to 180 kilowatt hours: EcoFlow storage supplies households for almost three weeks
As the US magazine The Verge reports, the new model is based on the 2024 Delta Pro Ultra, but offers around 60 percent more performance. The continuous output is twelve kilowatts, but can be increased to 36 kilowatts by connecting up to three inverters. That’s easily enough to operate large household appliances, air conditioning systems or electric car charging stations.

EcoFlow storage: Flexible energy management with smart home connection
The Delta Pro Ultra X connects to EcoFlow’s new Smart Home Panel 3, which can control up to 32 circuits. This allows users to specifically decide which devices should continue to operate during power outages. The system is compatible with solar cells, generators and wallboxes and can automatically charge and discharge depending on the electricity price or network load.
According to EcoFlow, the installation of the system should be particularly easy. There are already over 400 certified installation partners in the USA who can install the system in less than a week.
A starter pack with an inverter and two battery modules costs $7,999 (around €6,900). If you also want to use the Smart Home Panel, you will pay around 10,899 US dollars (the equivalent of around 9,400 euros). It is currently not known when the system will be available in Germany.
