At MWC, Blackview is showing the DCM6 Pro, a lightweight dual-screen gadget that is aimed directly at notebook users who cannot do without multiple screens while on the move.
Blackview’s DCM6 Pro has two 14-inch IPS displays with 1080p resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, which are located on the left and right of the notebook. The manufacturer specifies the brightness as 300 nits and the pixel density as 157.35 ppi. In addition, the TÜV-SÜD-certified Low Blue Light is intended to be gentle on the eyes.
One cable, two screens
Power and image signal run via a USB C port with USB 3.1 support, a second USB C port uses Power Delivery with up to 20 V/5 A and enables reverse charging with up to 100 watts – so the notebook can be charged via the display gadget. According to Blackview, a single cable is enough to power both screens.
Compatible with many systems
The accessories work with Windows and Mac laptops as well as Android devices, Chromebooks and Linux systems. Blackview also explicitly mentions current MacBooks with Apple M processors as well as game consoles such as the PS4/5 or Nintendo Switch.
For 13.3 to 17.3 inch notebooks
The holding frame is designed for notebooks with display sizes of 13.3 to 17.3 inches and, according to Blackview, weighs 1 kg and is 4.5 mm thick. The tilt angle can be adjusted from 0 to 180 degrees, and an integrated kickstand is intended to keep the laptop stable.
Extras: speakers and protective cover
There is a single box speaker in the housing that delivers sound directly from the display add-on. The scope of delivery also includes a protective cover that is intended to secure the DCM6 Pro during transport.
