According to the Organisers, the name “Bole Festival” came from the popular street delicacy in Port Harcourt; roasted plantain and fish with spicy sauce. It will interest you to know that that this yearly event will be holding it 7th edition on 6th and 7th of August, 2022 at the popular Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Bole Festival began in 2016 and has now become a household brand. It boasts over 30,000 turn-up of amazing guests annually. According to the founder and CEO of Bole Festival, Kennedy Nonso Iwu, Bole Festival holds every first Saturday of August every year.
