Davido whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke. He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and businessman.

Davido is also known as Baddest, and ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (OBO).

Davido was born in Atlanta, Georgia, US, to Mr and Mrs Adedeji Adeleke. Davido’s father is a know Investor and business man in Nigeria. Davido hails from Osun State into the family of Adeleke.

Davido lost his mother Veronica Adeleke at an early age.

Davido was enrolled at the British International School located in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. He later gained admission to study Business administration in Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama.

While at Oakwood University, Davido bought some recording and musical equipment to make music.l references. Davido later dropped out of school and moved to Nigeria in 2011.

After deliberations with his Dad, he enrolled at Babcock University, Ogun state and finally graduated in 2015 with a first class in music.

Davido was recounted that his Dad made a promise to his late mother that he will ensure Davido finishes his schooling.

On Oct.30, 2011, Davido released ‘Dami Duro’. The Dami Duro single was co-produced with Shizzi.

Davido later released the music video for Dami duro, which was directed by Clarence peters.

The song late became a hit song in Nigeria, it was aired inamost every media outlet – the introduction of Davido to fame.

Davido released his first album Omo Baba Olowo (Child of a Wealthy Person) in 2012 under HKN Music Record Label.

Omo Baba Olowo had fantastic features like Sina Rambo, Ice Prince, Kay Switch, B-Red, 2 Face and Naeto C. as a guest.

The DMW record label has many top artists on their payroll, including Teli, Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Dremo and others.
