The Oral-B iO Series 6N also shows hardly any weaknesses when it comes to operation. The toothbrush is easy to hold, the control with the two buttons is easy to learn and there is a practical display. If you want to know more, you can use the smartphone app. What is a bit annoying, however, is the thick bridge of the brush attachment. This makes it difficult to close your mouth while brushing. Correctly circling the back molars is also more laborious.
The colored light ring for pressure control is easy to see and the cleaning time signals are clearly understandable. Displaying the cleaning progress in the app provides an additional incentive, but there is no need to constantly look at your smartphone. The display shows the set mode, the elapsed brushing time and an exact battery level in percent. The toothbrush remains quiet during operation and does not cause any disturbance due to vibrations on the handpiece.
Toothpaste residue can collect and dry out in some hard-to-reach areas of the Oral-B iO Series 6N if the toothbrush is not cleaned immediately. The brush attachment is stable during operation, but can be easily removed afterwards. If you would like to continue cleaning after the end of the cleaning time, you can do that. The toothbrush remains switched on. However, the handpiece can roll away if you lay it down. This is a bit inconvenient.
