Detected when you first open the app Overdrop Your location and immediately shows you the current weather and the forecast for the next few days. In addition to an animated display, the app offers general information as well as diagrams on the course of temperature, probability of rain and wind speed.
Also included are satellite maps with rain radar, current severe weather warnings via push notification and other details. If you would like to add different locations, you can do so easily using the location display.
Somewhat hidden in the menu are widgets that can be placed on the home screen. Unlike most weather apps Overdrop Not only comes with weather widgets, but also offers dashboards, time and date displays, and battery indicators.
The widgets also score with a successful, minimalist look that you can put on your home screen without much effort. However, if you want to access all 50+ widgets, you have to use the Pro version, which costs 14.99 euros.
