How a Policeman gifted me N50 in Port Harcourt – Journalist

Amidst allegations that men of Nigeria Police are in habit of collecting money from motorists across the country, a Port Harcourt base Journalist, Martha Okere, has shared a contradicting story of how she was gifted a money from a Policeman in Rivers State.
Martha Okere, who work with a popular media house in Rivers State shared the touching story of how a Policeman gifted her money while on her way from an event on Saturday night.
According to her, she was stopped by a Policeman along Abacha road while returning from an event with her friend, after a complimentary greetings, she asked the officer if there’s anything for them, surprisingly, the officer dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out fifty naira (N50) and handed it over to her, this gesture got them surprise.
In the post on Facebook, Martha Okere wrote:
“So, something happened today. I and Chika Elesi were coming back from an event around 9pm today. On Sani Abacha road, a policeman stopped us.
Me: Good evening officer
Policeman: Good evening fine ladies
Then when the policeman, I thought, was about to ask for the usual, I immediately spoke up.
Me: officer show us love nah
Immediately the policeman dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out N50. He handed it over to me. I collected ohhh..😂😂😂
I and Chika started hailing him and drove off.”
