Lilian Dinma advices fellow music artistes

Nigerian – European music artiste, Lilian Dinma, has advised her fellow artistes to follow the recent trend of marketing instead of conventional way of selling CDs.
In her post on the social media, the popular EU female artiste said artistes should learn to invest in their music career.
In her post, she wrote: “Here is my answers
“Every Artist should invest in his/her craft 💯 don’t put fame 1st put the passion, love, then investment before fame.
“Music industry is not like 20 years ago were Alaba marketing will blow you by selling your cd 100 naria. Now music is more international mostly Afrobeat. Music is ever lasting generation cash out if, you planned it well.
“I can’t reply everyone on my messenger because it’s too much to explain. Get a good music digital promoter in your country that will give you a turn over not streaming without turn over. Look for digital marketing promoters who will put your music on a backlinks with different plugs and higher authority.
“It cost alot of money, but your budget can take you the 1st steps. Make sure they create a keyword with your name and music. Most artists think about fame but forget to promote their work. God fit blow anybody but sometimes your hard working will get you there.

“Sign a contract deal with your promoter who put your music in any digital platform which is not necessary because you can actually do it yourself.
“Most importantly is your production, mixing, mastering, lyrics. Make sure each production gets better than the last one.
For independent Artist, work on your management skills to get to know it all. Read and make research on your own. See some YouTube video were they talk about building a music brand, find your focus on what you can do without manager. Reach out to people who can be of support to you. Sometimes yes you get mocked but let it slide and try again.
Thank you and God bless you.”
