The MPG 322URXDE comes with a well-equipped USB switch. The two fast USB 3.1 (Gen 1) ports clear up the table surface. There is also a USB-C port that transfers images as well as supplies and charges mobile devices such as laptops with 98 watts of power. You can also intelligently switch between different connected computers using a KVM switch. The monitor does not have a LAN port and therefore cannot serve as a stable Internet distributor via USB-C.
Finally, we are missing a few extras. When it comes to audio, the monitor only provides the minimum, namely a headphone output – no integrated speakers, no microphone, and no built-in webcam. The monitor can be adjusted in all relevant directions, but there is no pivot function. This is not atypical given the display diagonal. There is also no light sensor for saving electricity or a presence or motion sensor.
When it comes to power consumption, the MSI MPG 322URXDE QD-OLED behaves inconspicuously. With 41.2 watts in SDR mode and 61.1 watts in HDR mode, the model requires a little more power in its size class than some competing products, but it doesn’t stand out in a significantly negative way. At least the power supply is installed internally, so you don’t have to have a power brick lying around.
