I’ll make it short and painless: CURVED will be discontinued and taken off the network at the beginning of March. The decision to do this was not easy for us. In the end, there were internal strategic reasons that we carefully considered together with our partner and that made this step necessary.
Regardless, the entire media industry is currently facing noticeable changes. Changing user behavior, new technological offerings and an overall challenging market environment are impacting many publishers – we have also responded to this.
CURVED has continuously developed over the past few years. We have tested new formats, sharpened our content and always aim to provide you with well-founded, understandable and well-crafted articles. The fact that many of you accompanied us encouraged us – it made saying goodbye all the more difficult.
The editorial team will continue its work elsewhere and is already involved in new projects. I also continue with new tasks. Before we draw a line, however, one thing remains to be said: Thanks.
Thank you for 12 exciting years. Thank you for all the comments, the lovely emails and your loyalty. Thank you for every “Your test helped me a lot” message. Thanks for every article you read. Thank you for making all this possible for so many years and for giving us a lot of joy in our work.
Our thanks also go to our partner and all business and cooperation contacts with whom we worked during this time.
Farewells are rarely final. You often meet again elsewhere. CURVED ends – but the people behind it continue to write. With experience, attitude and the same passion for good tech journalism.
Wishing you all the best:
Christoph Lübben & the entire CURVED team
