Peter Obi reacts after Tobi Amusan set world record

Peter Obi has reacted to the success recorded by Tobi Amusan at the world Athletic Championship.
Tobi Amusan broke record to win 100m Hurdle Gold.
The Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan, won the 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, United States.
Amusan, who obliterated the world record in the semi-final where she clocked 12.12sec, powered to win the final in 12.06sec.
She goes home with $100,000 in prize money.
In his reaction to the success recorded by the Nigerian in the world scene, the 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi congratulated Tobi Amusan for winning gold medal and setting a new world record.
Peter Obi added that the tears of Amusan at the ceremony podium while the Nigerian anthem played, connects that our dear country needs leaders to match the talents and ambitions of her youths.
In the post on his official social media page monitored by iBelieveallAll, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential hopeful wrote:
“I sincerely congratulate Tobi Amusan on winning the 100M hurdles gold medal and setting a world record.
Peter Obi also said “Her tears at the ceremony podium while the Nigerian anthem played, connects that our dear country needs leaders to match the talents and ambitions of her youths.”
Tobi Amusan is currently receiving praises and congratulations from different part of the world after her successful record breaking performances at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, United States.
