Peter Obi reacts to the sudden death of Garba

Peter Obi has reacted to the sudden death of one of the Labour Party’s frontliner in Kaduna State, Mallam Lawal Garba.

The 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Dr Peter Obi, mourned the death of Mallam Garba through his verified social media page on Tuesday, October, 18.

He said the news of the death of Garba came to him as a shock. Mallam Lawal Garba was said to have died on Monday in a fatal motor accident.

According to multiple reports, Mallam Lawal Garba was among those that welcomed Peter Obi during Arewa House interactive session in Kaduna which was held in Kaduna on Monday before his untimely death.

Reacting to the news of the tragic death of the Labour Party local leader, Peter Obi said;

“I’m shocked by the news of the sudden and tragic death of Mallam Lawal Garba last night in a fatal vehicular accident.”

Mallam Garba was in attendance at the Arewa House interactive session. His death is a huge loss to his family, the Labour Party family in Kaduna State and the Kaduna people.”

He prayed “for the peaceful repose of his soul and that God Almighty will grant his family the fortitude to bear this huge loss.”
