Popular Nigerians who lost their children in swimming pool

Losing a child is one of the painful experience any parent can passed through. Especially, when the child is lost in the swimming pool or any other domestic related accident.

There are couple of families who have had this experience of losing their children through swimming pool. In this post, we will look at some of these popular parents who have had such nasty domestic accident experience leading to the lost of their children.

Couple lost their three children in Ajah Estate Pool:

According to Punch Newspapers, a couple were reportedly lost their three children in an Ajah Estate Pool.

An eyewitness said an alarm was raised after the three children were found motionless in the pool. They were immediately removed from the pool and rushed to the hospital where they were confirmed dead.

This incident happened in June, 2022.

D’Banj and wife loses son in swimming pool:

Nigerian popular music artiste and song writer, D’Banj is another popular individual to have lost his son in a swimming pool.

D’banj’s only child, Daniel Oyebanjo III was said to have been reported dead after drowning in the family’s pool in their Ikoyi residence. He has since been taken to a morgue in Ikeja GRA.

His son was 13 months at the time of his death. This ugly incident happened in June 2018.

Davido and Chioma loses son, Ifeanyi, in a swimming pool:

The latest incident is the lost of the young Ifeanyi David Adeleke, son of the popular Nigerian music artiste, David Adeleke better known by his stage name as Davido.

The news of Ifeanyi’s death made it way to the social media on 31st October, 2022. It was gathered that Davido and Chioma was on a trip when the incident happened at his Ikoyi home.
