“Sometimes wish I had worked in a more established organization.” – Oseyomon Ighodaloh

Nigerian Businessman, Mr Oseyomon Ighodaloh, has revealed he wished he had worked in a more established organization before he started out on his entrepreneurship journey. He said for the past two years, he have been studying, researching, and learning about big businesses. Their systems, structures and processes required to succeed in the market.

Speaking on business development, Oseyomon Ighodaloh said, “I have always had a deep passion for building businesses. As I grew on this path I started to realize that building a business is one thing, and building a BIG business is another. My first real realization was that the knowledge and intelligence required to build a business will be very different from that required to scale it.

“For the past two years, I have been studying, researching, and learning about big businesses. The systems, structures and processes required, and i even sometimes wish i had worked in a more established organization before I started out on my entrepreneurship journey. But whether that was good or bad, the future and this journey will decide and i pray it is good. I reached out to several people and consulted excel and grace consulting, took courses on it and started asking questions as much as I could.

“My mentors should be tired of my incessant rants and questions on these topics, it became an obsession to the point I stopped engaging in the day to day activities at our organization just to focus.
“Its been several months since then, the journey has been quite exhilarating and tiresome all at once but entrepreneurship is more than just an idea to me, it is my passion and one that I am deeply committed to.
“As I learn on this path, i share with members of our senior management and colleagues and in that way we build the next generation of leaders that will not only go on to help build a great organization but fall in line in our succession plans.
We are not there yet, but it is our prayers and hope that we continue to have the grace to gain the knowledge and wisdom to build for Africa and from here, the world will hear us.”
Oseyomon Ighodaloh is the founder and CEO of bamboo Group of Companies. In 2022, his Company, bamboo Group, became first African Real Estate to sell property on Metaverse.
